Photoshoot Guide
One of my favorite hobbies is photography! I love to go out and explore with my friends and take cute pictures wherever we end up. It’s such a fun way to spend time and make (/document) memories. Along with that, it’s fun to get all dressed up or find inspiration for outfits and photos and then go and do them! While you can plan outfits and locations and think that everything will go smoothly, sometimes it is hard to get exactly what you want. I also hear a lot of people say that they “aren’t photogenic” or “can’t be cute.” I am here to tell you that is NOT TRUE! Everyone is photogenic and beautiful!! I thought that I would put together a little “photoshoot guide” and hopefully make others see how enjoyable photoshoots can be!
Find inspiration. It’s always good to have a plan when you want to go to take pictures and one of the best ways to do that is by finding some inspiration for where you may want to go. Find inspiration from other people or platforms (I personally LOVE Pinterest) on places you may want to go, outfits you may want to wear, or even poses you may want to do. This makes the process so much more exciting and makes it easier when you already know how you want things to look in your head.
Relax. Sometimes it can be hard to do this but you just have to relax and do what makes you comfortable!
Tell your photographer what you want. If you love how a certain angle or lighting looks, let your photographer know! You should always want the photos to turn out how YOU want so let them know if you really like or dislike a certain thing! This can make the process a lot easier and help you to relax more when you know that you like how it’s being taken!
Take a lot of pictures. Like A LOT. You’d be surprised at how many amazing photos come out of just holding down the camera button for a few seconds. Let loose and like i said, do what makes you comfortable!
