My Favorite Spring Trends and How I Style Them

Spring has SPRUNG and wow am I excited for it! There have been so many new trends coming up here and there that are so cute and stunning. I thought I would compile a list of my favorite trends right now and how I plan to style them!

High Waisted Relaxed Fit/ Oversized Denim 

While this has been quite a trend for awhile now, I am seeing it more and more as the weather gets warmer. I love the vintage/ 90s grunge feel that these style pants give off and they are a really interesting statement piece while still being basic. I would style pants like these with a more tight fitting top or something cropped to really accentuate the pants! As for shoes I would pair these with some basic white sneakers or for a fancier look, heels.

Silk Scarves/ Wrap Tops

One of my favorite trends right now has got to be this one! Silk scarves are very versatile and can add so much to any outfit. The hard part is knowing exactly how to tie them, but it's actually very simple! (may or may not have something teaching about this coming out soon....;)) You can take one silk scarf and easily have three different styled tops simply because you can tie them in different ways! I would pair a silk top like this with some basic blue jeans or to be fancy, a pair of white pants. I have also seen some people style these with black leather pants which I also love. For shoes pair with sandals for a more casual look or heels! Along with the many ways you can wear them as tops, you can also wear them in your hair OR as a belt!

Pastels

Pastels are always a staple color wise for Spring. They are so cute and are the perfect tones to go with anything! I have been loving to mix and match these colors (for example pastel yellow and purple or green and pink) to make basic outfits stand out more. When wearing a lot of colors, I always like to wear simple blue jeans or white pants. However, if you are wearing pastel colored pants or patterned pants I love pairing just a simple white top with them!

Mules

So many brands are coming out with super cute mule sandals that are PERFECT for the Spring and Summer. The first ones I saw that were really big were Gucci, but Just Fab and other shoe stores have come out with more affordable versions that are just as cute (possibly even cuter!). These shoes come in so many different colors and they are the perfect way to dress up an outfit. I love the idea of getting these in white or even blue since those two colors go with a lot of different items. These shoes can be paired with jeans or other pants, skirts or dresses. They are also not super high-heeled so they are super comfortable!

Colorful Jewelry

I feel like Spring/Summer 2021 is all about vibrant colors. Especially in jewelry! Statement rings or clay rings have started to become a huge trend this season. They are stackable and an easy way to add a pop of color to an outfit! I would wear these with a more basic outfit such as a white top and blue jeans to make it more eye-catching and interesting.
